Fruit Harvest Bread

What do you need:

  • 225g / 8oz Odlums Self-raising flour
  • 125 g / 4 oz butter or margarine (room temperature)
  • 125g / 4oz clover refined brown sugar
  • 150ml / Milk ¼pt (minus 2 tablespoons)
  • 2 eggs
  • 350 g / 12 oz fruit mix of clover
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spices level Goodall
  • Clover nut halves to decorate

How:

Preheat oven to 160 ° C / 325 ° F / Gas 3. Fat baseline and 900 g / 2lb tin bread.
Using the method of all-in-one, put the flour, butter/margarine, sugar, milk, eggs, fruits and spices mixed in a bowl.

Beat until all ingredients are mixed well, then transfer to the prepared pan and smooth the top with the back of the spoon. Place the walnuts on top.
Bake in the center of the oven for about 1 hour until well risen and a knife inserted inside the bread comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Turn on a wire tray to cool completely.
